Garden Design - Initial Consultation

An Acer planted amongst gravel.
Our design consultation allows us to understand what trees (like these Birch), shrubs and plants you need.
We chose Iris' for this garden planting

This informal consultation will enable us to discuss your personal needs and requirements in detail and to assess the scope of work involved in your particular design project.

A well designed garden not only adds value and volume to your living space but - more importantly - a beautiful garden will encourage you and any other users of your garden to enjoy more time outdoors, enhancing the quality of life and even improving health.

Some of the items you may like to consider could include improving access routes, steps and patios, reducing maintenance, creating greater visual interest via shape and colour, sunny and shaded seating areas for relaxation or entertaining, using raised beds for ease of gardening, lighting for visual effect or safety, storage and screening solutions, planting for privacy, year round seasonal interest, encouraging or supporting wildlife, etc.

At this meeting we can also demonstrate via our portfolio a selection of our recently completed design projects, detailing individual case studies and the design principles used to deliver solutions to individual problems. All projects within our portfolio have been built and include final build budgets - which may assist you in setting a budget for your project.

Following the consultation you will receive a written quotation for our On Site Design service along with a detailed reflection of our discussions, in the form of a itemised summary of your brief.

If you decide to proceed then a date can be set for On Site Design.
