The site survey consists of measuring up the plot to enable the production of a scaled working plan. In addition, a levels survey will plot the topography of the site, which will dictate the design approach. During the survey your soil will be tested and your garden’s aspect and surrounding influences will be assessed which, together with your brief, will provide the basis on which to consider suitable design options.
Design Options
From the site analysis and your brief, initial design options will be presented to you along with visualisation material and sketch drawings to help you feel the character of the proposed new design. At this stage we will discuss options for landscaping materials and finishing touches, which may include furniture, garden structures, ornamentation, pots, lighting, etc.
Master Plan
Once you have agreed your preferred initial design and selected your preferred materials and finishing touches, a detailed Master Plan will be produced showing full specification to enable your new garden to be costed for construction by Judy’s husband and son team. John and Adam provide a project management and landscape construction service enabling Judy’s designs to be accurately interpreted and turned into reality in the most efficient way possible.
Planting Design
Once the landscaping is completed, some clients prefer to establish their own planting. However, if required, our Planting Design service will specify plants that are perfectly suited to not only the growing conditions of your garden, but also your individual preferences and lifestyle needs. All plants will be supplied by reputable nurseries and growers, with all plant profiles available on line to inform you of their exact needs – to assist you with their long term care and maintenance. We can provide a planting and after-care service if required.
